Sarah Elcome trained and qualified in Massage Therapy in 2000 and Reflexology in 2006. With a busy client base, she created Amma Therapy in 2008, focusing on offering high quality bodywork treatments to clients at home; delivering effective relief to aches, pains and tension. In 2013 Sarah began a three year degree in Acupuncture, training at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Through her training Sarah has gained a deeper understanding in treating the body, mind and spirit with the use of an additional skillset for effective bodywork therapy. The college of Integrated Chinese Medicine also specialise in Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture.
Sarah has a background of treating a variety of patients ranging from the stressed and overworked, pregnant patients to new mothers, patients with digestive, endocrine and immune disorders, muscular –skeletal injuries and patients suffering from emotional trauma. Sarah’s philosophy has always been to discern and treat the root cause of patient’s disease. A preventative perspective can enlighten patients about their health and wellness from the mind, body and spirit. This gives patient’s the necessary knowledge and information to go ahead with lifestyle changes for a better quality of health.
Acupuncture, Massage and Reflexology
From a lengthy career in hands-on bodywork therapy, Sarah is competent in relieving patients from aches, pains, discomfort and has specialist knowledge with muscular skeletal issues. Sarah has a broad understanding in energetical movement from Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong and is insightful into a person’s emotional spirit which has been enhanced from studies in Five Element acupuncture. The differing modalities complement each other and aim to treat patients holistically, allowing for not only relief from symptoms but effective restorative rebalance from the cause of disease.
